Vedic Astrology, called Jyotish, the “Science of Light,” is an ancient system of astrology which has flourished in India for several thousand years. It is a complete system of knowledge, providing a model for our experience that includes all aspects of life. Like other forms of astrology, it deals with the astrologer’s perception of the planets in the sky and their indications of our experience. For the individual, Vedic Astrology provides insight and guidance into our daily lives as well as making us more aware of our relationship to the greater whole. It is renowned for its depth and accuracy, revealing the strengths and challenges in our lives through the concept of karma. Vedic Astrology, by providing us with an understanding of our talents, tendencies, attachments, past and future, offers us a way to understand this idea of karma, giving us perspective and a way of beginning to rise above it, thus experiencing free will.

Peter Bauer has studied with the renowned Vedic Astrologer Chakrapani Ullal. Since birth, he has met and studied with many Gurus and teachers, most notably Swami Muktananda. He holds a bachelors degree from the New School of Social Research and has studied at Boston University’s School of Theology. He is an editor of the forthcoming “Journal of the Awareness Field” through the Washington Center for Consciousness Studies.

Peter is now accepting clients for Natal Readings with Six Month and One Year Progression Readings to follow. A Natal Reading is a bird’s eye view of one’s life as a whole. It focuses on the major tendencies and character of the individual as well as looking at past and future changes. The Six Month and One Year Progression readings deal more extensively with the coming period. Of course, any question can be asked during any reading.
